Obakki Foundation
The Obakki Foundation offers people hope, empowerment and the chance to learn and grow. They provide people in developing nations with the opportunity to use thoughts, ideas, art, and fashion to stand up and participate in improving their own lives. All proceeds go directly into their projects. Not just a percentage of the profits, not just some of the money – every dime goes back to the community. There protect history in Africa:
• 12 schools built
• 5 water projects
• Education and medical supplies delivered
• Health and nutritional plans implemented
• Livestock & agricultural programs developed
• Ongoing support to 3 orphanages and 2 schools for the deaf
The Cinderella Project
The Cinderella Project provides formal clothing and accessories to disadvantaged teenagers of both genders so that can attend and enjoy their graduation ceremony, prom or ball in the company of their peers. The teenagers may be part of a family with economic or social problems or they may be physically or developmentally challenged.
The project accepts donations of new and used clothing and accessories suitable for a grad ceremony (or prom/ball, depending on how the grad event is organized), as well as cash donations to help the organization operate. Some of the money is used to buy clothing for students with physical problems that prevent most donated clothing from fitting them properly.
